Citywire A-rated fund manager Adrian Gosden is leaving Artemis Fund Managers after nearly 13 years running the group's £6.8 billion Income fund.

Gosden has run the popular UK equity income fund alongside Citywire AA-rated Adrian Frost since October 2003, with the pair gaining a co-manager in Nick Shenton in 2014.

Over 10 years, the fund has returned 97.2%, placing it in the top third of funds in Citywire's UK Equity Income sector over the last decade.

Gosden also runs the £1.8 billion St James's Place UK & International Income fund alongside Frost, and the £1.1 billion Artemis High Income fund, with co-manager Alex Ralph.

Artemis senior partner Mark Murray said: 'In his time with us, Adrian has made a considerable contribution to Artemis. He will leave with our thanks and very best wishes.'
